Item Number: OV-D009
In 1919, the No. 9 was introduced with a frame enclosure design that appeared sturdier and heavier. The olive-green color is typical for the Oliver typewriter, although the earliest models (and some later export models) were produced with a nickel-plated frame. Noted for extreme durability and neat work. Equipped with two-color ribbons device. Shift keys on both sides, backspacer, tabulator, variable platen, automatic line spacer, etc. All Olivers have extra wide typebar bearing construction, which insures perfect alignment of type.
